Town & Beach Motel

We stayed here before the ferry ride to MV. The motel is an older motel that is locally owned and has been well taken care of so don't be afraid to stay here. It's not luxury but it is clean and economical. The owner is very nice and made us feel welcome. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is no breakfast provided but options are close.

Second time staying in this wonderfully clean, updated, very comfortable motel. Owner and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms well lit, refrigerator, very comfortable beds, great AC. Grounds were extremely well maintained with lots of pretty flower pots. Excellent location to shops, restaurants and main roads. Would definitely highly recommend this motel. Thank you. Such a wonderful experience at Town and Beach! We had a travel emergency pop up that that both the owner and staff helped with. It was a situation far outside of what you’d expect a motel to help with, but they didn’t hesitate to immediately take charge and fix the problem. So thankful for the kindness that was demonstrated at Town and Beach Motel! The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. The motel is situated right on the Falmouth downtown strip, so it’s exactly what you’re looking for if you plan on exploring the beautiful and quaint city. Highly recommend!

This is a FAMILY run business. What that means is…you have people who are vested in trying to please you. They talk like REAL people. No, they don’t have a huge ice machine you can fill your cooler. They do have ice for a few cold drinks. We slept in a room with two double beds. This was all we needed. We had plenty of towels; a nice shower; toilet & sink. We were able to watch the Packer game on their flat screen TV in our room. I love… they remind their guests to conserve energy. I love they take inventory of THEIR room contents when you leave.? I love the room key is, just that, a room KEY. There is a mini refrigerator too. When staying at a “MOM AND POP’S” place, it shouldn’t matter the walls are thin. Decent people go to bed at a decent time. They respect their neighbors. I love the well cared for plants that greet you at your door. Yes, their price might seem a bit high but look where you are. A family-owned, reputable business is not going to over charge their guests, however, they want to make a living just like the rest of us. They have to meet motel standards and this isn’t free. For those who want to knit-pick about everything, please stay at the corporate owned places. I am thankful for this place.

Great location at an affordable price! Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. This is the Cape, where buildings are older and this place had that vintage charm. Parking is a little tight, especially with a car seat, but service is fantastic. If you bring your children please bear in mind- walls are thin, you'll need a stopper for the tub, and most likely a power strip for extra outlets.

A small New England motel that is very close to places to eat and drink in Falmouth, as well as close to the bus lines to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard. Rooms are older, but they are kept amazingly clean. Usually, older places feel dirty, but not this place. You can tell they scrub every corner until perfectly clean. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and near several resteraunts. The guy at the front desk even wrote out every M.V. bus and where they went, which helped us greatly the next day. A good overall experience.

My friends and I came down for the 4th and had such a lovely time here! The two front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful!! Close walk to the beach, and restaurants. Would 100% return!

Great location. Short walk downtown to many restaurants, bars and shopping. Easy access to ferry services to Martha’s Vineyard. Rooms were big and clean with comfy beds. Check in clerk was awesome and very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this motel!!
